TRU STORY EMPOWERMENT: CHERIKA JONES

Cherika Jones is a lover of all things empowerment. From speaking, to encouraging, to expressing it all through movement, empowerment has been a natural part of her make up since her youth. Over time she has come to realize that the varied experiences she encountered in life were not merely happenstance. In fact, they were essential and beneficial. Now, through the development of her story, understanding the significance of its events and discovering the deeper purpose, she ultimately brings restoration to others.

In addition, Cherika has worked in the mental health field for the first nine years of her professional development. She has mentored women, both young and young at heart, in church as an ordained deacon and even in regular day-to-day activities. She unselfishly gives her time, wisdom and efforts to pour into the lives of others. This practice has always been easy for her. She thoroughly enjoys opportunities to shed optimism on any situation, and as she further develops spiritually through real life encounters, she has grown to understand the power of her testimony.

God continues to reveal a purpose larger than she could ever imagine. Cherika is fueled with idea after idea and vision after vision. Although it took eight years for her to break free from the barriers that initially impeded her purpose, she now takes regular leaps of faith. Her drive is relentless and passion, undeniable.

Being Made Well Through Transparency, Outlook and Commitment is the mission through which Cherika intends to fulfill this purpose. And, TruStory Empowerment is the gateway for lives to be empowered.  Cherika finds great fulfillment in touching the core of persons who have been broken, battered and bruised through this walk of life. She is determined to be a catalyst that inspires people to live free and live well.
